Stephen Downes came to Cairns and talked to us yesterday, and inspired me to create my own blog. I enjoyed his free-flowing, controversial, provocative and occasionally rambling style and there were lots of ideas to chew on. I really think he should give up smoking though.
I liked the analogy he made at the breakfast talk between the 9 rules for good technology and how these apply to good managers. I don't think it went down too well with the managers though.
